They were reporting a straight blank page, and then after refreshing a few times, back to the index with no new registered user showing. I had the same problem when attempting to register a new username myself. After a few refreshes it'll state the username is taken or just go back to the index. If it's someone registering while I'm viewing the admin panel, or myself registering a new user while on a different IP, once at the white page, it shows "Viewing Profile" for that user/IP on the admin panel, though there is no new user registered.

I didn't see it when I searched for it. Is there a way to disable it on .s2 forums?

Not during registration. For registered users, this can be disabled.

In that case, 1) Should I tell the person in question to use a proxy, and 2) Is there any way to raw edit in a new username?

I've been trying to register to that International Third Positionist Federation fascist forum and I've faced the same problem.

I agree to the terms of service, then I am taken to a page telling me the username has already been taken even though I never even got to a page where I could enter a username.
