The Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad, has invited applications for an entrance test to be held at select centres in India for admission to its PGDM (communications) programme for 2012-14. The two-year full-time residential programme, leading to the postgraduate diploma in management, aims at developing high-calibre professionals. Those with a degree in any discipline from a recognised university and students in the final year of the undergraduate course may apply online on MICA. Admission forms are available online up to January 20. The last date for submission of applications to the Admission Office, Mudra Institute of Communications, Shela, Ahmedabad, Gujarat – 380 058, is January 24.

MBA, PH.D.

The Faculty of Management Studies, under the University of Delhi, has invited online applications for admission to two-year, full-time MBA (200 seats) and Ph.D. (30 seats) programmes. Applications can be submitted online up to November 30 on Faculty of Management Studies

Those with a degree in arts, commerce or social sciences with at least 50 per cent marks; in science with at least 55 per cent marks; or in mathematics, statistics, medicine, engineering, and technology with 60 per cent marks; or a postgraduate degree with at least 60 per cent marks may apply. Those appearing for the final-year degree or postgraduate examinations may also apply. Selection to the MBA and the Ph.D. programmes will be on the basis of the score in the Common Admission Test 2011 of the IIMs, a group discussion, and an interview. DSE PROGRAMMES

The Department of Commerce of the Delhi School of Economics (DSE), under the University of Delhi, has invited applications for admission to Master of International Business and Master of Human Resource and Organisational Development programmes for 2012- 14. Those with a degree in any discipline from a recognised university with at least 50 per cent marks in aggregate and those appearing in the final-year degree examination may apply. Selection will be on the basis of the score in the Common Admission Test of the Indian Institutes of Management, a group discussion, and an interview.
