Anushka is for the first time pairing with Karthi in a film which is being directed by Suraj. Suraj had earlier directed films like Thalai Nagaram and Padikadhavan. The shooting of this film commenced on the sensational day 11-11-11.

Gnanavel Raja who produced films like Paruthiveeran, Singam and Siruthai is producing this film under the banner Studio Green. Santhanam is also donning an important role along with Karthi and Anushka.
The combination of Karthi and Santhanam is continuing in this film after Siruthai and Saguni. Devi Sriprasad is composing the music while Saravanan is handling the camera. Enormous bungalow set has been erected in Chalakuddi and the shooting of this film is taking place there. The shooting of this film will take place there for 20 days.
