Oscar winner AR Rahman will be honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 8th Dubai International Film Festival. The musician is the hot favorite for his coveted award as he has won several awards including the prestigious Oscar and Grammy.

Rahman is glad that he is to get yet another award and is looking forward to add one more feather to his already decorative cap. The musician has several international projects in his kitty right now which make him one of the busiest in the business right now.

He has been signed up for Rajinikanth’s Rana but this project is not expected to start any time soon. Rahman has scored the music for Gautham Menon’s Ek Deewana Tha and this film will release in January next year.
