Madhavan to go to Australia for treatment

Madhavan is currently acting in the Tamil film Vettai. Madhavan while dancing for a song sequence experienced severe pain in his legs.

Because of this he met the doctors in Mumbai. When Madhavan was acting in the Hindi Three Idiots, he sustained severe injuries in his knees.

He was taking treatment for this in a hospital in Mumbai but he was not cured fully. The doctors advised Madhavan to take complete rest for 3 months.
But he was not able to take rest because there was continuous shooting. Now he has decided to go to Australia for taking treatment. Madhavan has mentioned, "I will be going to Australia during the month of December or January. I will return to India after fully recouping from my leg pain."
