About friendship

When someone is right by, you know they’re your friend,
Like a lioness protecting her cub.
You know it's not going to be the end,
Just like a strong, never-ending club.
When in desperate need for a giant smile,
Friendship may be the best route to go on,
Like a rider going on a mile.
And when someone that you love is gone,
Like a lonely duckling to his mother,
You have a buddy’s shoulder to cry on,
And a friend to me is like a brother.
There at all times, just like a loving mom,
As long as you have someone there for you
Then you should always be the for them too.

To me your life has been an inspiration.
Happiness is mine because of you.
As a mountain shows our destination,
Never, in its grandeur, lost from view,
Know that you have been my moral guide.
You have shaped the one I am inside,
Opening my heart with your affection,
Underlying all I say and do.

It is nice and easy to make friendship
But it is, of course, very delicate in nature,
Very difficult to maintain and continue,
And to be nurtured with etiquette and care.

Disregard, mistrust or misunderstanding,
May break down the unification at an instant,
Any ill insinuation against or any ill feelings,
May crack down or make the relation distant.

Hatred poisons heart and soul drastically,
If once happens to penetrate into mind,
It helps to breed ill motives and things only,
And thereafter, any good is hard to find.

Love is the strong bond to unite heart to heart,
Which creates faith and regards amongst mankind,
Helps in friendship and makes the bond unbreakable,
By nurturing always the good for others in mind.

Friendship shares joys and sorrows, pains and gains,
Friendship shares good or bad, even secret or debt,
Friendship is over hide and seek and doubts and bouts,
Friendship is more than wealth, the most precious asset.

Because existence can become severe
in one day,
just sense me and I'll be there.
In the minds eye,
I'm not so far away.
If you hold out your hand,
in the whispers,
If your eye's upon the stars,
in the crystalline darkness,
I'll become the moon.
And the light shall guide you.
If you rest upon the ground,
in the warmth,
I'll become the grass.
And embrace you.
If you turn outside,
in the wetness,
I'll become the rain.
An upon your forehead, kiss you.
If you free the air,
in the light of day,
I'll become the sun.
And smile for you.
Between the miles-

If you need a friend.

dear friend,
these letters sent hold our friendship from our past,
they showed me how much you cared,
told me how much you loved me,
and promised a friendship that would last forever,
each letter told a different story,
one that you could only share with me,
some letters were pleasant,
others emotional,
and a few were written about things that made no sense to others,
but to you and i they were crystal clear,
and i came to notice that always sign it off with 'love' and your name followed by,
but who knew our letters would stop and so would our friendship?

What would life be with out friends like thee
I'll tell you, like no longer being free.
Imagine what life would be so sad and blue
To go through life without that special you.
And I know we live so far away
Through the internet we are like castaways
Never get to touch or hug you for this I only pray
For some day I hope we can meet
To hug and laugh and dance to the beat
I know this would be a treat
For now this is all I see
Is my good friend here with me
Just think what life would be
Without friends like thee
