Applications have been invited by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (University), Kochi for admission to Bachelor in Medicine and Surgery - MBBS for Academic Year 2012-13.

Eligibility:
1. Should complete the age of 17 years by 31.12.2012 and should not exceed 23 by the said date.
2. Pass in higher secondary examination or its equivalent in the first attempt with 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Biotechnology taken together and 60% marks in English separately.
3. Those who appear for the qualifying examination in March / April 2012 can also apply.

Selection:
Selection is based on the rank obtained in the All India entrance test conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham on May 19, 2012 (10.00 AM to 12.30 PM ) at following centres: New Delhi; Kolkata; Hyderabad; Chennai; Bangalore; Coimbatore; Kozhikode; Kochi; Amritapuri (Kollam); Thiruvananthapuram; California (USA)

Application Forms:
Application forms are available from the branches of Dhanalaxmi Bank and Federal bank at a cost of Rs. 1,500/-. Application forms are also available through Speed post / Courier from Office of Admissions, Amrita Health Sciences Campus, AIMS Ponekkara, Kochi, Kerala - 682 041 on sending a DD for Rs.1,570/-.


DD for Rs. 1500/- is applicable in both cases. All DDs are to be drawn in the name of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Payable at Kochi.
