Taking care of flowers according to their need
Taking care of Carnation
· Remove the leaves from the flowers and remember to maintain excellent ventilation.
· Do not spray water on the flowers.
· Carnations are sensitive to ethylene, so carnations should be far from ripe fruits and vegetables, incense, cigarettes and so on. It is better to add anti-ethylene preservatives to the water.
Taking care of Rose
· Cut the stem of the flowers askew to prevent the head of the flowers from bending. Wrap the floor with newspapers and immerse the whole bundle of flowers in water to absorb water.
· If the head of flowers has bent, cut the base of the flowers and insert preservative of PH 3.5-4.5 and the flowers will be restored quickly.
· Roses are sensitive to ethylene, so they should be away from the ripe fruits and vegetables, cigarettes and so on, so that it doesn’t fade early.
Taking care of Lily
· Disperse the squid to make it breathe freely.
· Add bleach water or preservative to extend flowering period.
· Lily can be inserted into warm water if you want to have an early flowering.
· Lily is sensitive to ethylene and need to avoid fruits and cigarettes.
Taking care of Gerbera
· Cut the base of the gerbera with blades and then put them into water.
· Adding preservative to the water is better.
· Do not directly spray on the surface of gerbera, to avoid mildew.
· Take input-type flower arranging, to avoid a direct touch of the bottom of the vase, in order to facilitate water absorption and to avoid bacterial infection.
Taking care of Orchids
· Put the stem in tepid water for a few minutes if the bloom seems to be wilted.
· Snip the tip of the orchid stem under cool running water with sharp, clean scissors. Make your cut at about a 45-degree angle
· Dissolve 1/2 tsp. of sugar into a quart of water. Fill the vase halfway with the solution and add the cut orchid to the vase.
· Place your cut orchid in a cool room out of direct sunlight. Keep it away from natural air drafts, and heating and air conditioning vents.
· Change the water in the cut orchid's vase every three to five days.
· Re-cut the tips of the orchid stem once weekly
