All of us would love to give our children a fantasy bedroom. It is one room in our home where imagination and fun can run wild. Kids always want to enjoy the freedom everywhere and do whatever they feel like. Your child should always feel happy & attracted to his/her room and if anyhow the child doesn't like the room he/she won't love to stay there for long. If you want your kids to stay indoors, you will have to make kids room interior interesting and playful. While decorating the kids bedroom the initial step should be the colouring the wall. There are a number of ways in which the kids room can be painted and choosing right colours would add some meaning to the whole activity. You can paint their walls with some of their favourite cartoon or fairytale characters, flowers, butterflies, fishes on their walls or opt for a fully themed room. The ceiling is that plane of the room which the child stares at for hours. The bed for your child must be low to the bed in height and should be quite plump, softly designed and cushioned as this would make him feel more comfortable and relaxed. There is a great variety of beds available for the kids which are canopy beds, bunk beds, race car beds & wonderful fantasy beds which expands a decorating theme for any child's dream room. You can go for any shape as per your child's liking. The colour of the bed must be colourful & bright which makes the room look big and lively. The flooring of the kids room should be such that it can be easily kept clean. Carpeting the whole room with matching furnishing is not a good idea. The stains and dust mites can cause allergic reactions to the kids.

As a child grows to be a toddler, the clothes get bigger in size, their toys multiply in number and books get bigger too. The storage is one thing that really grows with the child and to fulfil that need, one must have an adequate storage. There are different types of storages like report storage, closed storage and an open store. The first type of store is used for storing outgrown toys or clothes that you can't part with, seasonal sports equipment or school work stored out of site in basement or garage. The fabric of kids room should also be given due importance. Washable, good, lasting material is always preferable. Kids room decor can't be complete without chairs and table which should be stylish, trendy and comfortable. There are lots of designs available in the tables and chairs. The table must allow large space with drawers and open work areas. For the chairs you can go for different designs and styles as per kids liking but make sure the chairs are comfortable enough to allow right kind of posture while studying.
