Now that Richa Gangopadhyay has opted out of Venkat Prabhu's 'Biriyani' and made the decision public on her microblogging page, the role is now seems to have landed in the lap of Neetu Chandra.

If sources are to be believed, the '13 B' and 'Theeradha Vilayattu Pillai' actress will do this spicy character of a urban and bold girl. Also, Hansika too is expected to be part of this project.

It is said that Neetu, who is currently expecting the release of Ameer directed 'Aadhi Bhagavan', which has 'Jayam' Ravi in the lead, is happy about bagging 'Biriyani' offer.

Starring Karthi Sivakumar in the lead, Biriyani, which comes with the stamp of Venkat Prabhu, has Premji Amaran and others in pivotal roles. Shooting will start soon.
