Description

This was a web based digital image printing service targeted at Indians abroad. The site allowed users to register and then upload digital images to the server from where the client would download it. The user can then place a print order selecting images and the number of prints for each image. The user can also allow guest access to friends who wish to order prints for themselves. The user can track orders and monitor an orders progress.



Contribution

My role was the design and implementation of the administration functions. These included member management, order management and member image management. The design was based on a four tier model( user interface, business services, business objects and system services). The system services included authentication, session and database access. I performed unit test and system tests for all administration functions.



B) Materials Management System
Client : Cochin Shipyard Limited

Description

It is an Inventory package for Cochin Shipyard Limited. In this project I used to control the procurement, stocking and congential deployment of the required materials. It also generates periodical reports of details of transaction and balance of stock as on date and report on resources on hand to the management enabling to have a quick decision process.

My project includes the master details of the customer, supplier, products and the day-to-day transactions. Apart from development is also includes testing and database designing.
