Vishu Kanji-Vishu Special Recipe

Ingredient
- Raw rice(Pachari) – 1/2 cup
- Parboiled rice(Puzhangalari) – 1/2 cup
- White beans – 1/2 cup
- Coconut milk – 3 cups
- Coconut(grated) – 1/2 cup
- Salt – As reqd
Preparation Method
- For preparing vishu kanji, first dry roast the white beans and remove the skin.
- In a large pot, boil both the rice and white beans with required water and salt.
- When the rice is done, add the coconut milk and heat.
- When the bubble starts to come from the sides, immediately remove from flame.
- Pour the porridge in serving plate and decorate with grated coconut on top of it.
- Vishu kanji, a tasty vishu special recipe is ready.
