Applications are invited by University of Calcutta from graduate candidates for admission to the following courses:

01. Certificate and Diploma* Courses (2013-14) in Arabic, Bengali, Chinese, French, German, Hindi, Korean (only certificate), Pali, Persian, Russian, Spanish, Tamil, Tibetan and Urdu Languages.
02. Pre. MA** Course (2013-14) in Russian Language.

*Candidates who have obtained one year certificate in a language from C.U. or an equivalent certificate from other Institutes are eligible to apply for ‘Diploma Course’ in that language.
**Graduation and a two year Diploma in Russian is the eligibility for Pre. MA.
Candidates are to qualify an entrance test for admission to Pre. MA course.

Eligibility for Certificate course: Graduation in any discipline

Application forms can be downloaded from the website .
The last date for submission (2 pm to 6 pm) of application at the office of the Deptt. is 14/ 06/2013.
