    Storage tanks are used to store fluids (liquids/gases), which are cold or hot. A storage tank can have flat bottom, fixed or floating roof. A storage tank can be above ground or under ground, cylindrical in shape, made of steel with elliptical/conical heads. Large storage tanks are commonly used to store Petroleum products.
