In the month of August, we had heard the news that actress Alia Bhatt has bagged the role for Karan Johar’s next film titled Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. Guess who is going to be paired opposite young Alia!! It’s none other than her Student Of The Year co-star Varun Dhawan.

Varun Dhawan is currently shooting for his father David Dhawan’s movie titled Mein Tera Hero. He will wrap up the shoot by end of this month and then begin his work for Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania which is a Karan Johar production.

Alia Bhatt is excited about working with Karan Johar for the second time. Alia believes that filmmaker Karan Johar has a vision for her. "I trust him completely. It's obviously going to be very exciting working with him," Alia expressed.

Student Of The Year was directed by Karan himself but this he is giving the job to debut director Shashank Khaitan. Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania is set to release on June 27, 2014.

In the past, there were rumours that star kids Alia Bhat and Varun Dhawan were dating each other but both of them rubbished such rumours. The audiences loved watching Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Siddharth Malhotra, who were fresh faces in Student Of The Year. The romance was fresh and interesting. We hear that the love story in the upcoming Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania is out of the box and unique. So look forward to another fresh romantic movie in 2014.
