Leo XIII English Medium School, Kalath, Alappuzha, was started in the year 2005, by the Diocese of Alleppey, with the aim of providing quality English education to the community around at affordable rates. It is the offspring of the pioneer and the prestigious educational institution of Alleppey, the Leo XIII Higher Secondary school. Spreading over 3 acres of land, with infra structure facilities of national standards and with the dedicated team of the Manager, the Principal and the faculty members, the Institution focuses on the quality-based integral development of its students.



Vision and Mission

The Leo vision of education is engraved in its emblem ‘DILIGITE LUMEN SAPIENTIAE’, that is May the Light of Wisdom enlighten you. The Institution aims at imparting value-oriented education, ensuring the holistic development of the students. It endeavours to instill in the youngsters a scientific temper and love for learning. It strives to nourish and nurture the many facets of the student personality. The mission is to mould the future citizens with social commitment and moral uprightness. The training imparted and the co-curricular and extra-curricular activities undertaken are geared towards this vision.

Each child is a unique entity and the learning needs of each one differ from the other. The benchmark of this institution is offering personal attention to every child.

The (BUEI) Board of Unaided Education Institutions pioneered and promoted by the Bishop and the Rev. fathers of the Alleppey Diocese of Kerala who run the school have unflagging vision, by dint of which state-of-the-art infrastructure, smart class-rooms, spacious play ground, voluminous library, child friendly toilets, healthy sanitations systems, hygienic drinking water facility, sufficient, resourceful teaching and non teaching staff etc.. are made accessible to every student who is being enrolled.
