FTP

Hey Y'all ...

I'm using CuteFTP in order to upload my new
banner. Everything works, except my password.
It won't accept it. I don't understand this because
it's the ONLY password I have.

Can anyone be of some assistance here?

Put this iin the feilds.

Address: ftp.bizhat.com
Username: yourname.bizhat.com
Passwod: yourpassword
Port: 21

If that doesn't work.
Then try this:
Address: ftp.bizhat.com
Username: [email protected]
Password: yourpassword
Port: 21

Well ...

I tell you, the ftp intro to the addresses, etc. never
worked for me.

What does work is:

Host: freeforums.bizhat.com
Remote Directory: /home/freeforums/uploads/(Site name)

Everything works here, including my screen name, but it
won't take my password!

I think I need to know how to retrieve it from Bizhat? They
must have assigned me some other password in the very
beginning. Yes?

are you talking about webhost (bizhat.com) or forumhost (netfreehost.com)?
as CFE_aAa_FeLoNy give you info is exactly on webhost on yourname.bizhat.com, but yourname.netfreehost.com is forum host will not allowed you to access by ftp. :idea:

I believe I'm hosted by Bizhat.com.
I know nothing about the other one

Can someone tell me if Bizhat sent me some kind
of password when I first signed up for the IPB/
Bizhat hosting? Please?

If I can't use my board password to get into FTP,
I guess I'm screwed.

Oh, I don't think you can get files to forums, because if a person did they would be able to 1steal the forum files that people need to pay for.
