u don't need a .ico, .gif or .jpeg shud work, look for my previous post here, you will get it!

and as a matter of fact, your image size can be as large as you want it, the browser will reduce the image size to fit the address bar.

The image in http://virjay78.tripod.com is much bigger than what is shown there.
