    hi ps2 formuz....

yes at one point of time i did consider getting patched up , but i've got lots of advice otherwise ..

i think it comes down to will power , which i thoroughly lack :(

    i'll keep tryin,

    I disagree!
The power of will does not work for addicted people.
No matter how hard you try, the problem will return in a couple of months or in a year. Plus you'll gain weight.
You need to get it out of your mind, out of your system. You need to forget about it.
Using the power of will you'll make it even harder because you would keep thinking about smoking all day.
Try the book. You have nothing to loose.
I'm sure that you're gonna ask me what the book says.
Don't worry. It's not a medical book. It doesn't say anything about heart attacks and lung cancer. It won't frighten you, It will help you.

    Cheers

    Hello Karma330,

Yes I have stopped smoking and I have organized stop smoking sessions.

The best method I know is a group therapy called "5 Day Plan" and it's organized by the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
    They sometimes call it "Breath-Free".

You have many Seventh-day Adventist churches in Australia, you should be able to find one easily.

    hi guys ,

    i'm really dissapointed overmyself ,
i've been through a lot of work pressure the last few days and i kinda postponed my " trying to quit". i've gone back to normal of smoking my regular doeses everyday. maybe its not the right time to quit. i cant take all the work presse without my fags.
i am planning to quit when i take some time off from work mostly on a long vacation ,

my sincere thanks to all who were concerned .

    cheers

    Default quit, if you want

What philosophical, psychological and parapsychological innervisions are being revealed on quitting smoking! Think of your family, children and the cancer you donate them by your smoking, just be proud of that, and never quit it. What else, a better disease than this can u give them?

Often people are more addicted to the chemicals IN the tobacco, than the tobacco itself. Try to find some organic tobacco and buy that, then after that it might be easier to follow the other good suggestions to get rid of the habits of smoking.
