Killing someone is wrong. It's immoral. It also happens to be illegal. No matter what the persons mental or physical condition is or will be in the future, they are still human beings. They deserve the same respect and love we deserve, and probably more because they have some sort of defect. As for the baby, its a human being so killing it would be murder too. I am a Catholic so I am here to stand for life and promote it. God made everyone, even the brain dead, the babies, the handicapped, so doing anything to them is a sin.
Ok so here is a non-religious point on it: in the Declaration of Independence, Thomas Jefferson wrote "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness." It does not say "all perfectly capable and healthy men and women between ages 18 and 50 are created equal" it says everyone, even the brain dead and babies.
Imagine if the US government said that you should die because you have green hair. They say that you, with your green hair, do not contribute to society and they have no use for you. How would your family feel? How would you feel?
