    Default Upload problems

    Helo !, i have not have a single upgrade of my account to start with but im on it ;)

    When i try to pload oscommerce (e-shop) then i get some problems that i cant upload a file called ".htaccess" , got any clues wy i cant upload it ?

    That file is not allowed.

    Oscommerce will work with out .htaccess

    what does that file do ? (pretty green to this php programming and such)

    Strange. If it's not allowed, then why was one on the server when I first connected? Besides, I fail to see why you'd disallow it. It's a useful tool. If you're afraid of users' htaccess files overriding the server's, there are commands to prevent that from happening.

    PS: htaccess is used to set properties for the files on the server. For example, you can specify doctypes, password-protect directories, specify error pages, et cetera.

    .cvsignore - same problem

    I alow it to be upload but the server dont alow it....
