    Dear Admin,

    Makar Shankaranthi greetings!!

I feel sorry to mention that the site does not permit putting a ZIP file. Your post mentions of ZIP file not figuring in prohibited files list.

I tried to upload a simple file containing certain VC and VB source (no EXE). The size of ZIP file is 1.39 MB (it is less than 2 MB size as declared).

But the file could not be loaded. Are there any other requirements to be fulfilled by members like me.

It is requested that all terms and conditions should be clearly brought out in the form of static web pages that appear at the entrance of website.

With the posts that I am seeing here, it seems that most of members are "trying to accomodate" themselves with a totally different kind of environment, trying to decode what to do and what not to do.

I believe all members will agree with me (the Admin too will) that going through terribly long list of posts for clear instructions is quite cumbersome.

Kind attention of the Admin is brought to this please for urgent action.

Kindly also suggest me why the ZIP file (<2 MB and no EXE in it) is getting deleted the moment it is uploaded. I am trying all methods for the last two days only on this aspect.

actually, Ap hosting allows for upto 10meg upload and it is a free site as well but an otherwise unreliable site beyond that :/ but I do kind of agree that 2meg limit is a bit severe as I'm working on a Flash Site and most of those are in the area of 6meg on up

    Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /zzz.wma on this server.

    Please, help.

    I also have that problem.

I have a tiny zip file that i put in my web site for my simulated hockey league that the players can download. But none of them, neither i, were ever able to download it, we always get a "access forbidden" page.

The only way to download it is right-click/save-as.

The zip file is about 32k in size, it contains data for a simulated hockey league.

Any reason why it's forbidding us to download it?

The link is correctly written, the file is on the server.
