Default angelfire bot detection of this code

Angelfire disables your site if you use this code in it. I am not sure of any other hosting services that have bots that scan, this code cant sit in your source for over a day without detection.

Yeah they don't like it when you abuse their services. They won't hesitate in wiping out all your work if they catch you. I don't mind banners anyway as long as they don't take ages to load slowing down the site, or advertise porn or anything like that.

If a site is great and they want me to add a banner for them, I would love to. It keeps them in business and that keeps my site up there.

I HATE pop up windows on the site. That is disrespectful.

i also thinks thatremoving a banner is not good because the provider has some investment for their services and if we dont put even his name then why he would going to provide such a free service. theyare not in the market for charity.

Banners are really annoying. And if this code doesn't disable page loading, then this is a good option

    No it is not!

Not everything that can be done, should be done. The code would clearly be illegal if installed on webpages hosted by companies that rely on banners and the like, to stay afloat.

If the TOS states that banners will be installed on your site, then don't sign up in the first place. Simple.

Personally, I don't mind having to install a text link or even a discreet banner at or near the bottom of my webpages. It's a small price to pay, so long as the company offers reliable hosting with less than 1% downtime, PHP, MYSQL, FTP etc., and reasonable space and bandwidth. Their servers should also be fast and not take forever to update content uploaded via FTP.

It's when banners have to be placed at the top of pages that really annoys me. Also, pop-ups/pop-unders and the like, are the most despicable of all! :x No one I know of likes them. Which begs to question: Why are they still used by any advertiser :?:
