Johnson (Mani) grew up in Muthungakuzhi village seeing his father Amarakaran Pathrose (Kalabhavan Mani) a criminal doing heinous deeds, Johnson dreams of becoming a cop. He excels in athletics and villagers call him 'Ben Johnson'. Johnson manages to join the Kerala police as sub inspector under the sports quota. He is posted as SI of Muthungakuzhi. How he cleans up the place of rowdies forms the rest of the story.
The film has only one point agenda and that is to deliver an action film for the front benchers. Mani fits the role and gives an energetic performance. He has proved that he can dance well too. Deepak Dev's mass tunes go well with the film. Item number girl (In Tamil) Suja turns Sruthi and plays the heroine. Siddique and Vijayaraghavan play the regular villains .The camera of P.Sukumar is above average.
