If that doesn't work u can go in for PowerDVD from www.cyberlink.com or go in for WinDVD for playing DVD.

I have a Zenith Director Laptop in which i formatted my old OS and installed a fresh Windows XP-Professional SP2, However i have lost the Driver cd which came with the Laptop and hence was unable to install Graphics Driver and Sound Driver. Somehow i managed to get Graphics Driver from www.intel.com with compatiability for my motherboard(855GM family).

However I am still unable to find a appropriate Driver for Sound, First i dont know which driver is Compatiable with this laptop and 2nd I dont know where to download it from.

Laptop Specifications
1) Pentium Centrino 1.6 Ghz
2) 2 MB L2 Cache
3) Intel 855GM Family Mothorboard
4) 40GB Hard Disk
5) AC'97 2.1 , SoundBlaster Pro Compatiable.


I tried AC'97 by downloading but it does not seem top work, Kindly give me the links to which i can download comaptiable drivers for Zenith Director laptop.

Can u give me exact name of ur mother board??
It will b available in system information

I hope u know where to find system information
if not then
start-programs-accessories-system tools-sytem information

and on the rigth side there will b "system model"
thats important info
If u don mind then export the system info by clickin
file-export
give a filename and save it
upload it as an attachment to ur next reply
and that will help me a lot to solve ur problem

Currently giving you the motherboard name which i could get from Zenith Website.

Chipset is : Intel 855GM ICH4-M

Other Specs as on Zenith Website are
Intel Pentium-M Processor 725, 1.6GhzFSB 400MHz 2MB L2 Cache
Intel 855GM ICH4-M
System BIOS :- Flash EPROM(Include System BIOS and VGA BIOS) ACPI 1.0b,DMI 2.3.1 Compliant
