    Default Event ID 32003

When I first boot up and periodically after that, I see this message in my Event Viewer:

    Event Type: Error
    Event Source: ipnathlp
    Event Category: None
    Event ID: 32003
    Date: 26/11/2004
    Time: 14:24:44
    User: N/A
    Computer: Comp
    Description:
The Network Address Translator (NAT) was unable to request an operation of the kernel-mode translation module. This may indicate misconfiguration, insufficient resources, or an internal error. The data is the error code.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.
    Data:
    0000: 1f 00 00 00 ....

I checked the Microsoft article but I don't understand what it wants me to do.

My desktop is set to 192.168.0.1 and laptop is set to 192.168.0.2.
    Both have XP Pro.

    Any ideas?

sounds to me that the start and end IP address are the same and you mask is 255 across the board. sounds like a misconfiguration, and possibly an IP conflict, but I doubt it.

Is this the first time this has happened?
Is your configutration the same as the laptop config (except the IP address)
    what is your IP configuration?
