    Hi, I'm new to this board. I recently signed up for the free hosting and I tried using Dreamweaver's built-in ftp to delete files from my account, but it wouldn't work. So, I tried the next best thing (HMO). I got SmartFTP and it worked like a charm. Just something to keep in mind...

    u need to be active in the forum
    you must atleast have 100 posts
    100 good posts

    Hi, I am new to this site. I signed up for free web hosting, but then I see on some post that you have to post at least 5 posts before you can sign up, just wondering do I have to post 5 posts and go through the sign up process again? I am kind of confused, please help.

    Alright, I just read the FAQ, and I saw that there is a way to change the files on something called the FTP server. Does this mean that it is possible for me to change things like posting.php? I switched here because I couldn't add my mods to my old site. Will this work here?
    Sorry, I am confused about what this FTP is.
