The girl who started her acting career as a child artist in Masoom (1982) has made a mark for herself in the cine industry. She has acted in films like ‘Rangeela’, ‘Judaai’, and ‘Bhoot’ etc. The different kinds of films have shown her versatility in acting. Priyadarshni Academy has selected her for the Smita Patil Memorial Award this year. The award will be bestowed on her at a function held on September 19. The earlier recipients of this award have been Karisma Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai and Tabu.
