to remove spyware off ur system, u will need to either download or buy one of these products.

u can first start by downloading lavasoft adaware se ver 1.06 frm www.lavasoft.de and download the scanning definitions and scan the system. this software is freeware and freely available to download.

u can also download spybot search & destroy version 1.4 frm www.spywareinfo.com and download the updates for scan the pc for adware and spyware. this software is also freeware and hence can be freely downloaded.

u can also download microsoft defender, this can be downloaded from the microsoft website, but therez a catch, u will need a genuine copy of windows to download the software. if, u manage to download the same, u will need to download the update so that u can scan the pc. please note this too is freeware and can be downloaded freely.

in some cases free tools are quite adequate in solving the issue, however, there are a few like spyware doctor and webroot spysweeper which are not free and are top of the line products.

if nothing helps u, i would reccon u download a freeware tool called hijack this, and create a log and post the same here which would assist me in solving ur problem.

one last thing before i end, please disable the system restore feature in windows xp b4 u start scanning and removing the infection.
