Bangla Sahib : Located near Connaught place in Delhi, Bangla Sahib is a sacred place of the Sikhs. The Gurudwara is built at the site of the house where Guru Harkrishan Dev, the eighth guru of the Sikhs, stayed when he visited Delhi in 1664. The near by is a tank of water and the water of the tank is believed to have curative powers. With in the complex is a museum of Sikh history called the Baba Bhagel Singh museum, which has paintings depicting istorical events connected with Sikh history.

Sisganj is another famous gurudwara located near the Red fort in Chandini chowk, Delhi. It is the place of Guru Teg Bahadur's martyrdom. When he refused to embrace Islam on the instructions of Emperor Aurangazeb, he was beheaded here by the orders of the emperor. He was cremated at Gurudwara Rakabganj, another gurudwara in Delhi.
