those same scientists who tell you the world is facing imminent catastrophe will tell you under interrogation that there have been many ice ages that have come and gone throughout earth's history. i accept that co2 emmisions are a problem not because of global warming but because of o2 depletion. similarly all oxidative elements should be considered hostile to the objective of preserving breathable air. the west is the main culprit in this and yet is shouting the loudest. developing nations should aim not to succumb to economic pressure but rather demand technologies and money to develop their society more efficiently with regard to the environment. i don't know about any esoteric overtones associated with this campaign.
