I was just in Istanbul several days ago. My first time in Turkey, I found it to be a lovely place. The people, too, I found to be both helpful and friendly. However, there are only so many classical mosques one can view and, after four days, I was happy to return home. Nevertheless, Istanbul is a great place to vacation, if only for a few days.
