Her South Indian act in kanjeevaram saris, as Malini Iyer for Sahara TV didn’t quite amuse after the initial euphoria was settled down. So now the channel is attempting to revamp Sridevi’s look giving her a more hep touch in body-hugging T-shirts and trendy jeans for the refurbished series of Malini Iyer on Sahara TV.



And not just her wardrobe, Sridevi Productions is even contemplating of roping in a new director for the program. Boney Kapoor has approached Pankuj Parashar who earlier directed Sridevi in the superhit film Chaalbaaz and had also directed the popular detective series Karamchand starring Pankaj Kapoor for Doordarshan almost two decades back. However Parashar who is presently busy with the post-production work of his latest film Inteqaum has not yet given the final nod.
