Absolutely, 100% terrifying experience. There's no other game...like this. Compared to Half-Life2, it's a bit dark. That fact prevented me from playing it at first, so I switched to Half-Life 2. When I started DOOM 3 again, men, i was so scared !!! Think Twice !!!
