Home remedies for high blood pressure
Garlic is regarded as one of the most effective home remedy in lowering the blood pressure. It is excellent for thrombosis, hardening of arteries and high blood cholesterol.
Indian gooseberry (amla) is another effective food remedy for high blood pressure. One tablespoonful each of fresh amla juice and honey mixed together should be taken every morning.
Watermelon is another safeguard against hypertension.
In half of the cup of lukewarm water add one teaspoon of cayenne pepper. Drink it when needed. This is also one of the effective home remedies for high blood pressure.
Grind equal amounts of watermelon seeds and khas khas and keep together. Take one teaspoonful with an empty stomach and one in the evening with water for lowering blood pressure. This can be taken 3-4 weeks according to the requirement. This is very useful home remedy for high blood pressure.
Squeeze half a lemon in 100 grams of water and drink it every two hours for immediate relief.

One or two pieces of garlic rolled in raisin also lower blood pressure.
Take four leaves of Tulsi (Holy Basil) and two leaves of Neem with 2-4 teaspoonfuls of water, empty stomach for 5-7 days. This will reduce high blood pressure.
Take fresh papayas daily on an empty stomach for a month regularly. This is also effective home remedy for high blood pressure.
Take Spiegel seeds in 1-2 teaspoons of curd.
Amla taken along with milk daily helps in lowering the blood pressure.
Walking barefoot on green grass for 15-20 minutes daily also improves blood circulation and helps to maintain the blood pressure at normal.
Hot foot or leg bath for 10 minutes and hot compress over the heart are the water treatments that have been proved beneficial.
Take fennel seeds, cumin seeds and sugar in equal quantities and make a powdered mixture. Then add one teaspoonful of this powdered mixture in a glassful of water and drink. Do this ne time in every morning and every evening. This will be helpful to people who have problem of hypertension. This remedy is very effective home remedy for high blood pressure.
Yogic asanas such as suryanamaskar, makarasana, matsyasana, vajrasana, ardhpadmasana, pavanmuktasana, shavasana and simple pranayama like anuloma-viloma and abdominal breathing are beneficial.
Mix half onion juice and half honey. Take 2 tablespoons twice daily to lower the blood pressure. This is one of the effective and simple home remedy for high blood pressure.
Baked potatoes are best for lowering the blood pressure.
The vitamin P content in grapefruit is helpful in toning up the arteries and lowers the blood pressure.
