Hi, :)

My mother taught me how to dress, how to present myself, and
use manners at all times. My father taught me how to love myself
how to walk with grace and how to speak properly(no slang).
Dressing appropriately was a must. Nothing too revealing. Every-
thing I did was done with supervision. My family said that this
was to train me to be the best person I can be.

Back then I never understood why they had to know what I
did everyday, why they took such care to ask all the right questions,
why I could not curse, even if I was joking. Why we eat our meals
together, and why as a family I was dragged to culture events.
Now I know the real reasons for all those years of touture. :D

Today I am happy to say that I now know and agree with how I
was raised. I am a mom, and I see myself doing the same things
to my children. What they taught me was not torture after all, not
bad at all. I love who I have become.I tell my family that the training I went through had paid off.Because I love being me. I love who I am. :D
