Not Able To Reply?

A user on my forum said he couldn't reply to threads, but he was able to post a new one.
Help?

Have you tried your self ? Create a test account and try reply yourself and see if it works.

I just tried, and both, when I created the account and replied, I got an error message:

Failed sending email :: PHP ::
DEBUG MODE
Line : 246
File : emailer.php

But the account was still created, and when I went to the thread, my reply was still posted.
