    Default langueage?

    Hi i want to write widgets for sites and i was wondering which languages i should be learning? I know html (pretty well). here the list i could think of
    javascript(jquery (rite away))
    xml
    html dom
    any one have some advise?

    widgets? Not sure what that is I'm huge on HTML. But, most websites these days either use Html or Java. I've seen some others but not to many xml is some what popular but not too much the coding is hard to understand and is mainly just jibberish. The easiest is html by far. Java is the second. Xml is far up there for business but mainly for those that are extreme programmers.

    scripts for like music players and chat boxes and little adons for websites

    is html a standard language? or php?
