    Thumbs up useful post

Found this post extremely useful. As someone who spends many hours looking into a screen, these exercises have definitely educated me into taking action to ensure my eyes stay good for longer.

I had a scare earlier today, from lookin at a 22" widescreen for around 2 hours straight I looked out the window at someone passing by who caught my attention and my eyes couldn't make out their face as it was all blurry where I was looking.

I think it was because my eyes were at the same focus for so long that when I quickly looked at something far away they didnt have time to focus.

Have got booked in for a checkup.

    Default

Thanks for all the info, this is all very useful for most of us who spend long hours in front of the computer. I also find that lessening the brightness on your computers/laptops helps a lot. The default is usually set too high due to (commercial?) purposes and to beautify the product and we usually don't even need it that bright. It probably leads to over-reliance on brightness? idk..
