Yes, agreed with pH and Guttu.
AV's slow down our computer.
Also, my friends too hate norton internet security. They have uninstalled them.
another one joins our company
NIS does not containt Antivirus in it. It has anti-spyware and stuff like that.
ANtivirus is seperate from NIS. As I seen NIS come in a diff box for free when you bought antivirus. :P
I don't like either of them because Anti-vrius scans my stuff alot and it keeps deleteing its own tempfiles which would make it continously popup over and over and never stop poping up so it buggs me, now its half uninstalled and I'm not in a very secure spot.
NIS is really absurd.I am using quick heal >its really very good. The virus which Norton,Mc afee,pc cillin couldnt handle was cured and deleted by Quick heal. The virus like windows GY a terrible one was deleted.Even I used to face the same problem. No internet connectio if new PC cilli and NIS is installed. So my vote goes for QUICK HEAL which never hinderd trhe old PC which was having 256mb of ram and even my new PC having 2 gb of ram!!

So my friend doesnt know that NIS contains Norton AVHighlighted Features and Benefits
Norton AntiVirus™
Norton™ Personal Firewall
Norton™ Privacy Control
Norton AntiSpam™
Norton™ Parental Control
Never try to install Antivirus unless you have atleast 1 GB OF DDR (DDR II Recommended). Install NIS 2005 or 2006 on a PC with 512 MB RAM means that you are just slowing down ur PC upto 75 %. If you insist to install an antivirus then go for etrust EZ Antivirus or something simillar. Stay away from shit like Norton, Mcafee etc.
Another fan added in our category who doesnt like AV
they really suk
and wat u sed is absolutely correct sohaib

Hope this link might help u
I was advised by experts; to uninstall Norton Internet Security to keep maximum efficency between two computers; these experts have not have a network connection ever go through with NIS installed.
NIS is the problem, not Norton Anti-Virus.
