    oh another weird fact....

the actor they got to play in the original Dracula ( I cant remember his name)

didn't speak a word of English, so he got the script translated into phonetic English

    (Dra-Cue-Law)

and that's why he spoke so weird!

Was: Romainan Emperor for 7 Terms.
Did: Drink Blood, steaked people and publicized the hangings.
    When: Ottoman Empire, 1438 - 1476
About: Wanted to be emperor of Romania for a long period of time, so he impailed and diciplined people by killing them or inprisoning then or impailing them and drinking their blood. He was prisoned for his cruilty, and had guards buy birds for him to drink their blood and gutted and drank blood of rats in the prision cell. Even after his inprisonment, he regained power over romainia once again, and died. Soposidly killed by the Turk's in battle. And was barried within his Castle. When his grave was opened 1973, the only found animal bones. Count Dracula has escaped death once again.

My Opinion: I think he is the real dracula, because of his ancestry and evidence writen in books and the facts were founded by stroker the real dracula story writer.

Do you believe in these facts?
    wakeup guys!!!!
Its proven fact that there is nothing like ghost dracula and his reincarnation, his thirst for human blood etc. Its just that the real stroy of a romanian doctor called dr.Drakes was marred to such an extent that a horror movie was taken based on that, and all the rumours is based on this horror movie. Nothing more than that...
Drakes was a romania doctor of the 17th cetury, he suggested an innovative, though stupid solution of drinking the blood of live bats as a cure for a kind of throat problem. For the same, he had to give numerous demonstration to the public. At the same time, buy doing so he had developed an unknown liking for blood. Unfortuately, one of his patients happened to die, relating to which he was accused of being the cause for the death, and was called the son of satan. By force of people, he was also imprisoned ifor life, into an old , so called haunted, romanian castle, and after which everyone forgot about him, but his blood drinking demonstrations where recorded in numerous forms, in writings, as well it had becom a nightmare for may romanians.

So this is the story as was published in Cronica Romana, a news media in romania.
" Hey blood of live bats are good for throat problems!!!, point to note guys"

I don't agree with you jamesbond, if there was such recordings of a dr.drake then the history channel would of mentioned him as real dracula.

The story you gave sounds really phony, these demonstrations in the public were way of punishment not proving how to cure sore throats.

And yes i'm sorry guys I did spell blod instead of Vlod, I had a hard time hearing the history channel because I was sick the day I wrote it and posted it.

That's been my understanding. He was a Walachian Prince who stood up to the Ottoman Empire. His favorite form of execution was impalement... which could take a person days to die from. Stories are told that he like to set up banquets and dine while he watched people die.

    Nasty.

"dracula" is a ficticious character made by bram stoker. it is believed he was partially inspired by Vlad.

btw, no such thing as vampires.

I think he used to be real. I seen a tv show showing historical facts about what people used to do in regards to drinking blood and stuff, but for the acutual living a long time and turning into a bat or what have you, then no.
