About friendship

God put people in your life for a reason
Some for a while and some for a season
But with you I know it’s for a lifetime
Because your friendship and love is hard to find

You never judge or look down on me
And you see things in me I would never see
And that’s the way a friendship is suppose to be

I say my prayers and thank him for you
Because without you I don’t know what I’d do
I know you be tired and you have your own life
But you’re still there for me without malice or strife

You’re my strength when I can’t take it anymore
all I have to do is knock on your door
You’ll stop whatever your doing to see about me
And what you some people would charge a fee

This poem is to let you know
That I really appreciate you
And to let you know that I love you too
But most of all it’s just my way of saying THANK YOU

I’m sorry you can’t trust me
And won’t ever let me in
I’m sorry you don’t believe in me
And that I could not win

I’m sorry for not being perfect
And being able to break your fears
I’m sorry for messing up
And causing all your tears

I’m sorry I can’t fix it
And make you want to stay
I’m sorry I wasn’t good enough
And now I have to pay

I’m sorry I ever doubted it
And made you second guess
I’m sorry I was so stupid
You haven’t seen my best

Every thing's gone wrong today
No one reacts to anything you say
No matter how much you scream and cry,
the world seems to be passing you by.
No one seems to notice or care,
that you are trying to be heard over your despair.


But on one face a smile shines through,
a smile that knows and cares about you.
A smile with love to lend,
on a face you recognize as a friend.

Whenever you need me I'll be there.
I want you to know that I truly care.

When life knocks you down on your knees,
I'll be at your side just as fast as you please.

A shoulder to cry on when times are rough,
An encouraging word when you don't feel good enough.

An ear to listen to your hopes and your dreams,
A voice of moderation when you've gone to extremes.

Someone to share the good and the bad,
I will be the worlds best friend you ever had!

When I sit here all alone in my room,
I think of you
And my eyes begin to build with tears.
But then I think of how much I hate you
And how I won't EVER take you back.
I wish I didn't love you anymore
I wish I didn't ever have to go through this shit
But the more I think about you the harder it is to say "I'm over you"!
I want things to go back the way they used to be.
But deep down in my heart I know we'll never be together again.
I tell my self that I don't love you anymore but when I think about you all of those feelings come back.
I just lie there and cry.
It's your fault for the why I feel like this.
Just so you know one thing until the day I die I will miss you.
And my love for you will never leave my heart.

The hands of fate have twisted again
Altered the love I was to send
She saw me with a different eye
She waved as she left a tearful goodbye
My feelings for her will go forever unseen
To be hidden away like a forgotten dream
She'll never know as I cloud my eyes
I vow forever to keep this disguise
I can never open my heart she can never see
Exactly what she means to me
I smile and wave as rain falls from above
Now I know the meaning of unconditional love

This is for you, my best friend,
the one person i can tell my soul too
Who can relate to me like no other
Who I can laugh with to no extents,
Who I can cry too when times are tough,
Who can help me with the problems of my life.
Never have you turned your back on me
Or told me I wasnt good enough
Or let me down
I don't think you know what that means to me
You have went through so much pain and you still have time
For me.
And I love you for listening even when inside YOU are dying
And I look up too you because you are strong,
and caring and beautiful.
Even though you don't think you are.
And I hope you know that I am always here
To listen to you laugh and cry and help
In all the ways that i can
And I will try to be at least half the friend you are
To me.
I hope you know I would not be the person I am today, with out you.

What it is like

Now I think
I wish I didn't know
how easy it can be
to love you so

My dreams have all
then some come true
as I glance back
and see you smiling too

These are things
I can never tell
but I've never kept
my secrets well

So I'm sorry
when sometimes it may show
and you didn't want
to ever know

How your special to me
in so many ways
without a single word
you brighten my days

That said and done
now that we're here
I know I should have
nothing to fear

Because in the end
we'll be just fine
I can't lose something
that was never mine

It's just feelings
are hard to comprehend
as My Lover
but just My Friend

Friendship is a remarkable part of a life.

Friendship is happiness.
