Friend is the bridge between two lovers;
Without friend lovers cannot be united.

Love and friendship don't see differences;
Love and friendship are beyond all barriers;
Love and friendship maintain joy and peace;
Love and friendship are forms of God's shield!

Friendship and love are two eyes of man;
They are Sun and Moon of day and night!

We are friends and I do like to pass the day with you
in serious and inconsequential chatter.
I wouldn't mind washing up beside you,
dusting beside you,
reading the back half of the paper while you read the front.
We are friends and I would miss you,
do miss you and think of you very often.

Then He looked down from Heaven above,

And saw that we all need a helping hand,
Someone to share with, who'll understand.

He made special people to see us through
The glad times and the sad times, too;

A person on whom we can always depend,
Someone we can call a friend.

The links are friends so dear,
And like a rare and precious jewel
It's treasured more each year...

It's clasped together firmly
With a love that's deep and true,
And it's rich with happy memories
and fond recollections, too...

Time can't destroy its beauty

Years can't erase the pleasure
That the joy of friendship gives...

For friendship is a priceless gift
That can't be bought or sold,
But to have an understanding friend
Is worth far more than gold...

And the Golden Chain of Friendship
Is a strong and blessed tie
Binding kindred hearts together
As the years go passing by.

It is not wise to count your friends
on a bright sunny day.
When the sky is blue
and smiles come so easily.
Instead wait for a storm,
when the clouds are dark
and the day grows cold.
Laughter is not heard
in your heavy heart.
Then when a friend comes
and stands beside you
and lifts your spirits to the sky
and laughter is in your heart,
he or she deserves the name . . . friend.

But for me that's not the case
