Application form and prospectus can be had from the office of the Institute of Distance Education and from the University Sales Counter at Palayam on payment of the following amount by cash/university chelan receipt.

Candidates residing in a foreign country have to submit a DD for Rs 200/- in addition. Each Bank Draft Amount should carry an addition of Rs 10/-.

How to apply
Students desirous of seeking admission shall apply online or in the prescribed form attached with the prospectus. The last date for receiving application, shall be 31 August, unless otherwise notified. Applications received after the last date prescribed shall not be entertained. Applications duly filled in should be sent to the Director, Institute of Distance Education, University of Kerala, Kariavattom, Thiruvananthapuram – 695 581 by registered post with acknowledgement due in a cover super scribed ‘Application for Admission to…’

Online registration facility for admission is provided . select the course and fill in the application form and submit the application. Take a printout of the acknowledgement and send it along with necessary fee and documents to the Director, IDE. You will have to remit the cost of Application form & Prospectus before submitting online Application.

DD has to be drawn in favour of The Finance Ocer, University of Kerala from SBT payable at SBT service branch Thiruvananthapuram or from the District Co-operative Bank branches payable at State Co-operative Bank Head oce Branch at Thiruvananthapuram. Students outside Kerala shall submit DD from SBI Branches payable at SBI Main Branch, Thiruvananthapuram. Overseas students may submit DD from any Scheduled Bank. Fee can be remitted at the Cash Counters at Kariavattom and Palayam campus and at the Janasevana Kendram. Those who pay fee by DD have to pay Rs. 10/- additional as service charges. Applications for MSc Computer Science & BLISc shall be accompanied by a DD/ University Chellan for Rs 50 and those for MBA/ MHA / PGDHHA / MSc in CND / MHSc / MLISc shall be accompanied by a DD/ University Chellan for Rs 200 as additional fee.
