The wedding wear for grooms is equally elaborate, as it is for the brides. Modern day grooms usually prefer a sherwani for the wedding day. Accentuated with embroidery, zari work and stone embellishments, the sherwani is worn over a pair of churidar pyjama. If you’re bold enough to go adventurous, try to an ornately embellished sherwani with dhoti pants. Designer Bandgalas and Jodhpuris are also seen very often during Indian weddings. Fabrics like velvet, brocade, and satin work best for the wedding attire as they add to the rich look, dipped in dark and warm colors, mainly brown, rust, rust red, aubergine and black. Beige, fawn, ivory and white also look classy when teamed up with maroon or crimson dupatta around the neck. On the wedding day, the grooms also accessorize with a pearl necklace, along with a classy watch and comfortable mojaris.
