Default How do I upload web pages?

If I create a web page on frontpage or dreamweaver, how do I upload it to my file manager, then how do I make it my index page?

rename that page to index.htm or index.html
I think home and default names are also supported
login to the bizhat account with which u signed up for
    the webspace
    Got to the file manager
browse to the file and upload
wait for sometime till it is uploaded

I prefer FTP upload rather than browser upload

    I'm very sorry for that
I never visited the control panel
bcoz used to upload from FTP
thought that all sites hav file manager so replied like that

Ok now I visited the CP
when u go to file manager u r uploadin via FTP
chek the url in address bar
Thats y I prefer a FTP client like FlashFXP or CuteFTP
If u don wan that then read further

just browse 4m My computer to the file u want to upload
    right click and say copy
now goto file manager, right click and say paste
it takes some time to upload

If u use FTP client u have greater control
U can upload as many files through above method

    Reply if u don understood

I don understand!? what's ftp and 4m? The only way I'm used to doing websites is through geocities and it's real easy, just go to easy uploader and browse for the file I want to upload. Thanks for trying to help me! I'm sorry I'm so illiterate.

    4m=shortform for from
    FTP=File transfer protocol
    use to transfer files
Unlike HTTP which is used to transfer text

Now step by step I'll explain
    Step1:
    Login to ur account
    I hope u know that

    Step2:
U'll get Control panel page with icons like
change password, resource uasge etc etc etc
    click on file manager icon

    Step3:
U'll c one file named index.html if not don worry
AT side u'll c some info about ur account
Now minimize the page and go to MY computer

    STEP4:
goto the file u want to upload
right on it and say copy

    Step5:
now come back to file manager window which u minimized
right click in empty space and say paste

Filemanager is easy, it opens in an FTP Page.
Right click anything you want to upload even folders from using windows exploror and pasting it on a white blank spot in the FTP page. and it will upload immediately

You can use FTP Programs like CoreFTP Pro which is free.
    put in the following info
    Url / Hosting: ftp.bizhat.com
    username: yourusername
    password: yourpassword
and you should be viewing to sides, left side is folders and right side is your website and just highlight what you want uploaded even a folder and push a blue arrow that is pointing right, and do the same if you want to download something from your space just use the different direction.

    Frontpage / Dreamweaver
go to bottom right in frontpage push remote webspace tab or something similar to that. you should see a blank page, go to top right with publish website I think, and you will get a new thing come up, says dev, http, etc... Click on FTP button, put in the following info.
    ftp://ftp.bizhat.com/
and thats it nothing more, then push okay.
You will next see a username and password fill those in and you will see your webspace and the files of which you had frontpage make a website. ;) hope this helps a little bit, I will soon be coming out with a tutorials website that goes breifely over this stuff.
