Default RedHat Linux 9 (THE LAST DISTRIBUTION FROM REDHAT CORP.)

Red Hat Linux is probably the best-known Linux distribution. It is well-supported by commercial software, and tends to be easy to install and have good hardware support out of the box. Compaq has taken over the maintenance for Red Hat for their Alpha processor - there's a link to their Alpha Red Hat page below.

Note: Red Hat 9 is the last version of Red Hat Linux per se, and Red Hat will stop supporting it soon. Instead they offer a commercial Linux distribution, "Red Hat Enterprise Edition", and a free distribution, "The Fedora Project".

    Code:

    CD2(646mb): http://www.linuxiso.org/download.php...i386-disc2.iso
    CD3(485mb): http://www.linuxiso.org/download.php...i386-disc3.iso

    No more RedHat Linux
    But there's K12LTSP(Fedora Core 2 + Terminal Server)

    That's right
I been using Red Hat Linux 9.0 for almost two years now.
all I want to say is it never goes wrong if you don't mess with it
    it's very stable

they actually stopped supporting it many months ago, there are no more security updates coming from redhat so it would probably be a good idea to switch to fedora or another distro (slackware)
