well choose your FTP and then open a new browser to view your website.
    http://yoursite.bizhat.com

The FTP will only allow you to overwrite and upload files.

Yah umm... i keep trying different things but am unable to select an exact page of index... i am wondering how do i select an exact page to make it the index or home page of the site and not make it like it currently is ( directory) cause it will be confusing to people who dont really know this type of thing that are comming to my site. Again please reply to the thread on how i can make a specific page the index or home page.

Well upload the files and then open another browser and choose the specified file.
    http://abraham06.bizhat.com/filename.html
    or
    http://abraham06.bizhat.com.filename.extension

The website will be directed to the index automaticly if you type in the url like this http://abraham06.bizhat.com and there on it should be directed to another page or use that file.

if i understand your question right , then the home page of your site is the page you upload named index.html . so name the home page you what to index.htm and it will open on the front og your site .

and remember that u cannot rename the file after you have uploaded it , it is a restriction , rename the file before you upload it . and delete the file you want to replace before you upload .

i had this problem before .
