Poorna has denied reports appeared in few sections of the media, which claimed that she is in love with Malayalam actor Hemanth Menon and would enter wedlock with him soon.

"I have worked with him in Chattakari and he is a good friend and colleague. There is nothing beyond this between me and him," says the actress of 'Muniyandi Vilangiyal Moondramandu' fame.

The 'Vithagan' heroine also dubbed as false a claim that she would convert herself to Hinduism to marry Hemanth. "I don't know from where such baseless rumours crop up," she says.

Originally from Kerala, Poorna is popular in Tollywood too, besides Kollywood. Her Mollywood film 'Chattakari' is a remake of a yesteryear flick
