I saw napoleon dynamite 2 times in theaters and I did think it was the funniest movie ever.

Since then, however, it has released on DVD and become very not funny. How? Well, if you are a high school student in the USA right now, you cannot walk between 2 classrooms without some idiot doing their horrible napoleon impression (they don't even quote it right most of the time!)

Ugh, leave it to the dumbass jocks to ruin a great movie.

Yeah i really didnt care for this movie. However, what i ahve heard is that you either love it or hate it. I guess that explains why its such a great conversation starter cause no matter wehre you are u get both arguemnts

I didn't love it...but I certainly didn't hate it. I thought it was funny in a few scenes (like the one where the brother backs over the tupperware and then peels out), but not as hilarious as everyone made it out to be.

yeah it had its moments, i loved it but my mates didn't really find it that funny, not that it matters.

ND pretty much rocks. i don't quote it all the time, but i do enjoy watching it. it's true that few people in the world can do an accurate impression. i'm american but haven't been in america for almost a year, so i haven't had to hear every american kid talk about it incessantly.
